Kim Cella, MSW, LCSW
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
Kim studied Nursing and Human Behavior at Vanderbilt University and earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from Washington University. After completing a two-year post-graduate program at the Psychoanalytic Institute, she had a private practice in St. Louis where she treated teenagers and adults. Kim is interested in psychodynamic, insight-oriented, mindfulness-based psychotherapy. She currently focuses on helping her patients navigate the emotions of a new medical diagnosis and to actively confront their diagnosis. In her spare time, Kim and her best friend created, wrote, and executively produced a television series that aired on DirecTV and AT&T U-verse. The ten episodes told the story of a psychology professor whose life is altered by a chance meeting in a New York City restaurant, and the series has been picked up for a second season.
