Art Class: Sumi-e and Symbols

Learn the art of sumi-e, a Japanese painting technique that uses ink and simple brush strokes, with artist Maria Ojascastro. You’ll use bamboo brushes and ink to paint symbols representing resilience, courage, and perseverance to help you envision a healthy new year. Both novice and practiced artists will enjoy this meditative painting experience.
